Lowestoft Folk Night raises over £2000 for statue

On Saturday 25th November, the Britten as a boy statue campaign hosted an evening of live folk music at The Players Theatre in Lowestoft. Musicians from Suffolk and across the UK gave their music and talent to create a very special evening that raised over £2000.

Ruth Wharrier welcomed everyone on behalf of the Britten as a Boy statue committee and The Blow-Ins thrilled the audience with their exquisite blend of Celtic Harp and guitar.

Suffolk County Music young violinist, Lily Connell, embraced her first solo performance, winning the hearts of the audience with her beautiful playing.
