Lewisham concert raises £1700 for statue

Stone House, Lewisham

BBC Radio 3’s Donald Macleod and director of the BBC Proms, David Pickard were among those who performed at an intimate concert at the Stone House in Lewisham to raise money for Britten as a Boy. The enjoyable evening was put together by the opera singer Matthew Rose and raised nearly £1700.
