Ruth Wharrier is a teacher and botanical and natural history artist.
She moved to Lowestoft from the North East to work as a part time Arts Lead Primary Teacher in local schools and an Arts Award adviser.
Ruth studied to become a teacher at Durham University and studied Botanical Illustration at the Chelsea Physic Garden in London. When not in schools, she works as a freelance artist, illustrator and as a tutor for Suffolk Wildlife Trust, based at Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve, Lowestoft.
